Obituary of Evelyn Gizzi

Evelyn Gizzi (Beyrouty),93, of Woodland Park, passed away at home on April 29, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born in Paterson, NJ on November 5, 1921 to the late James and Mamie (Azar) Beyrouty. Evelyn and her husband operated The Garden State Farm Store in Tenafly and owned Santarpia & Gizzi Tenafly Wine and Liquors. She was also a devoted member of Calvary Assembly in Woodland Park and the West Paterson Senior Group. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Gizzi. She was the cherished mother of Nancy Wagniere and her husband Jack, Carol Santarpia and her late husband Ralph, and Donna Hallamek. Evelyn was the treasured grandmother of Michael and Anthony Viscuso, Jeffrey Wagniere, Jaclyn Luker, Christie Kuchinsky, Everett Hallamek, Jennifer Graham and Allycia Hallamek and the great grandmother of Jessica, Alexandra, Lucas, Dylan, Joseph, Ethan, Cameron, Alex, Dillon, Derek, Ashley, Jacob, and Noah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ 07424. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
