To the Laneve Family:
I am just finding out about the passing and death of Anthony. My family goes way back to the 60's when my deceased parents (Giuseppe and Francesca Pugliano Murone) were living on Wayne Avenue in Paterson and purchased oil from his dad Joe from Laneve Oil Company on Grand Street. My Uncle Vincenzo "Jimmy" Pugliano played cards with Joe many times and years at the Laneve Oil Company Headquarters. We ended up purchasing a home and living on Henderson Street right around the corner from Anthony and his family. Our tomato gardens touched one another. Good friendships last a lifetime. I will miss Anthony and his family as well. From our family to yours, we extend our most deepest sympathies and condolences. The Murone Family: Donna, Joe, Carina, Joseph and now Athena Murone.

Tony,
Not many people are fortunate enough to have a best friend for over 60 years - a once in a lifetime friend. We never had an argument, never a unkind word. No matter how many challenges life would throw us, our friendship survived. You were one of the smartest and most generous people I have known. Thank you for all of the great memories my brother.

Dear Cousin Rest in Peace. Thank for all the lovely memories of our days in Paterson. You always had time for this little kid who followed you around like a puppy dog.You never told me to go away. Thank You for the doggy drawings that you would create for me everyday, teaching me to play songs on the piano, all our pool days, letting me plant in the garden boxes with you, all the times you would drive me around in Uncle Joey's turquoise convertible Caddy( oh! I thought that was so cool), for listening to me when I was a silly teenager, and for the recipe for pineapple chicken. On Friday, I found that recipe in my file and I thought of you.You will always be in tucked away in my heart! Love,Cousin Lori
