Obituary of Labib Maroun

Labib H. Maroun, 83, of Little Falls, passed away on May 10, 2015. He was born on May 14, 1931 in Aitaneet, Lebanon to the late Hanna and Nayla (Nahra) Maroun. A hard working father of five children, who recently worked at Union Camp in Clifton. He was married first to Josephine Maroun and is now survived by his second wife Amal Maroun. He was the beloved father of Vilma Boon (Bill), Nellie Bailey (Ed), Al Maroun (Adriana), Myrna Maroun (Bill Beaman) and Josephine Barilari (her late husband Tom). Labib was the proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren: Dylan, Rachel, Matteo, Jean-Luc, Cooper, Sebastian, Maeve, Tommy, Ellis, Francesca and one granddog Cozy. He is survived by his dear siblings Mike Maroun, Samia Ghattas, Nazih Maroun, Nabih Maroun, Jimmy Maroun, and Samira Haddad. He is also survived by his many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins from around the world. His family and gardening are what Labib loved best in life. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 10am at Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church, 265 Main Street, Little Falls, NJ. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9am. Burial will follow at Mt.
