Obituary of Robert F. Anderson

Robert F. Anderson, Jr., 73, of Rutherford, passed away on May 29, 2015. He was born in Paterson, NJ to the late Robert and Ann (Gallo) Anderson. Robert retired as a police officer from the Rutherford Police Department. He was a member of the Cherry Ridge Range in West Milford, the Rutherford PBA Local #300 and the PBA Retirees Local #5. He was the beloved husband of Billie (Els) Anderson, the treasured father of Robert F. Anderson, III and his wife Judy, Tereza Macklin, William Anderson and Jenn, Kelly Paasch, and Michael Anderson, the adored grandfather of Amy, Ali, Danny and Sarah and great grandfather of Mia and Estrella. He is the dear brother of Joseph and Derrick Anderson and the late Ann Diodato and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-4 & 6-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral service will be offered on Monday at 10:30am at Santangelo Funeral Home.
