So many great times we had Pat. You were one of my first partners when I went to '95 in 1974. All the different calls we ran, the fishing trips we took and great times we all had as friends which were born through P.F.D.A. Miss you Pat. Rest easy my friend.

My deepest condolences to you Joan and the family,
I worked with Pat at the Paterson Division of Health. Pat had always a wealth of knowledge to share with everyone, from work to DIY projects.
Every morning we had breakfast together and laughed about the scratch off tickets, Las Vegas and all his casino trips.
He was always a gentleman and had the most amazing experiences.
Although work was an important topic to him, his love of his family and especially his wife were very evident.
He was so proud of Joan's baking and cooking prowess.
I think everyone asked for your red velvet cake recipe.
No matter what anyone said they made... he would say.. the way MY WIFE makes it...(with a big smile on his face.)
When I was going to downsize, he told me everything to look for and the red flags to avoid.
I could not imagine a drill without seeing him there.
He was a very good man and will be missed by all who knew him.

My early years in EMS being partnered with Pat was my privilege. I learned so much from him. As important as his work both on the Sheriffs Dept and PFD EMS his family was always first. Many a Christmas gift was put together at 95. My prayers are with you Joan, Lisa and Linda. Pat will be sorely missed.

We are sad and so sorry for your loss. Pat was the one in our group who kept us on our toes & always on the move! I loved to sit next to Pat when we all went out for dinner because he & I liked the same kinds of food. We talked for years about the pork chops we once had with raspberry gravy. We will miss him!! Love, Sal & Marie

Dear Joan and family,
I am so sorry for your loss.
Pat was an extraordinary man who was full of energy, laughter and wisdom. He shared so much knowledge with me about Emergency Preparedness, and also many amusing and amazing stories. He never failed to amaze me of his versatility. He utilized all of these in multiple capacities and gathered a multitude of friends that had deep respect for him.
We ate breakfast together, and he talked about his love for Casinos's, trips to Vegas, but most of all, he dubbed you the best baker that he ever met!
He was a very compassionate man, who sincerely cared aboout people.
I personally know how difficult this period is for you and your family, and wish I could console you.
I am sure that he will be in God's arms and surrounded by so many people that he had touched throughout his life.
God Bless you and your family and help carry you through these difficulttimes.
He was compassionate and helped me through some rough times also.

Dear Joan & Family,
May God give you strength and comfort during this difficult time.
Pat was my dear friend at the Paterson Division of Health. He taught me so much about emergency preparedness and response.
However, our morning discussions about life, politics and general chit chat were always the highlight of the day.... of course, you, Joan and the family were also discussed....Chico's, your trips to Los Vegas, restaurants you went to together with family or friends...I could go on and on. His eyes would always light up and he would smile when he talked about you and the family.
Just a final word, Pat touched the hearts of all who met him. He, truly, was a man of great character and integrity.
Heaven has received a new member.
God bless.
