Obituary of Dorothy Poalillo

Dorothy Poalillo, (nee Pasinski), 88, of Woodland Park, passed away on September 9, 2015. She was born in Passaic to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Kazmarik) Pasinski. Before retiring, Dorothy worked at American Cyanamid in Wayne, NJ. Dorothy was a member of the Little Falls Golden Agers, the Little Falls Jolly Seniors, and the West Paterson Seniors. She was a 44 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 238 in Woodland Park and was on the Alfred Baumann Library Board in Woodland Park. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Angelo Poalillo (1997) and the cherished mother of Mary Beth DiMinni and her husband Nino and the late Michael Poalillo (2014) and his wife Maria. Dorothy is the adored grandmother of Ciara, Michael and Anjelica Poalillo. She is also survived by her dear brother in law Frank Poalillo and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Margaret Sinatra and Victoria Janica. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson, NJ. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9:15am. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.
