Obituary of Larry Raines

Larry E. Raines, age 70, of Totowa, passed away on May 17, 2013. Larry was born in Newton, Kansas to the late Frances Raines. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He was an active member of the Totowa United Methodist Church and also enjoyed collecting stamps, drawing, watching sports, gardening and working with his hands. Before retiring, he worked as an accountant for many years. He was the beloved husband of Pamela Gass, the treasured father of Lisa Raines, Leslie Hamilton and her husband Rick, and Lynette Cleveland her husband Craig, and the adored grandfather of Nichole Hinds, Thomas Hamilton, and Chloe and Colby Cleveland. He was the dear brother of David Raines, Musette Conley, and the late Nancy Gates. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral service will be offered on Tuesday at 10:00am at Totowa United Methodist Church, 105 Church St., Totowa. Entombment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Totowa United Methodist Church.
