Obituary of Gennaro Caiazza

Gennaro Caiazza, 83, of Paterson, passed away on October 9, 2015. He was born in Siano, Italy on March 3, 1932 to the late Joseph and Agnes (Botta) Caiazza. Gennaro was as a mason and construction worker, most recently at Joseph A. Maio in Lodi. Gennaro was the beloved husband of the late Luisa (Capuano) Caiazza. He was the treasured father of Joseph Caiazza and his wife Maria, Rocco Caiazza and his wife Franca and the late Nicky Caiazza. He was the cherished grandfather of Luisa, Nicola and Joey Caiazza. He was the dear brother of Nina Leo and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday at 9:00am at St. Gerard Majella Church, 501 West Broadway, Paterson, NJ. Guests may meet at Santangelo Funeral Home at 8:00am. Cremation will be private by the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alzheimers.org ) or to the charity of your choice.
