She was my great aunt. Her sister Elsie was my grandma (and my best grandparent she was awesome and truly loved me)
Anne however went with elsies son, George, in 2006 and re wrote my grandmas will to take me out if it completely. At the time i was struggling and didn't have an automobile ... George (her nephew) got $5,000 for the car and had a boat in his driveway .... Great legacy Anne. What an honorable judge.....

Anne is the aunt of my son-in-law, John Kloosterman. It was our pleasure to be with this special lady at family weddings throughout the years. We enjoyed our time with her so much. She was so full of life and had such a winning personality. A very lovely, attractive lady who will, I am sure, will be missed by all who knew her. We are very sad at her passing but happy she is now at rest and made whole.BbGpa

Ann was one of my colleagues when I served as a Workers Compensation Judge. We didn't work together in the same office, but I knew her well enough from times when the judges got together as a group to get a measure of the kind of person that she was.
Ann was a very caring person who had a sense of social justice. She was highly regarded by the lawyers and litigants who appeared before her as someone who was intelligent, open minded and fair. She impressed me as someone who consulted her conscience as well as the law before she made a decision.
I know that she suffered from serious physical illness during much of the time she was a judge, but she hid it behind a smile, kind words for others and an optimistic outlook on life.
She was a truly good human being. May God keep her in the palm of His hand.
Sincerely,
Andy Smith
