Obituary of Michele Florio

Michele Florio, 81, of Woodland Park, passed away on October 26, 2015. He was born in Italy on May 6, 1934 to the late Nicola and Vincenza Florio. Before retiring, Michele worked in Sun Bright print shop in Passaic, NJ. Michele was the beloved husband of the late Maria (DiLizia) Florio. He was the treasured father of Nicolino and his wife Diana, Flavio and his wife Elizabeth and Marco and his wife Nathally and the adored grandfather of Trevor, Jennifer, Jessica, Michael, Gabriel, Mikela and Boris. He is the dear brother of Novilia Finamore and his sisters in Italy, Ida Sanese, Eva Florio and Marietta Ramundo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 9:30am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson, NJ. Guests may gather at Santangelo Funeral Home at 8:30am. Entombment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.
