Obituary of Carmen Vazquez-Rodriguez

Carmen Vazquez-Rodriguez, 85, of Paterson, passed away on November 3, 2015. She was born in Puerto Rico on May 24, 1930 to the late Pedro Vazquez and Eugenia Rodriguez. Carmen was a loving homemaker to her many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carmen was the beloved mother of Domingo Lozada and his wife Gladys, Maria Lozada and her husband William, Roque Lozada and his wife Carmen Lydia, Rafael Lozada and his wife Aurea, Frank Narvaez and his wife Madeline, Carlos A. Valentin and his wife Cynthia, Carmelo Valentin, Elsa Valentin, Carmen S. Valentin and her husband Jorge and her late daughter Carmen Idalia Valentin. Carmen was the treasured grandmother to several grandchildren and great grandchildren who all love her dearly. She is also survived by brothers Carmelo and Jaime Vazquez and well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be offered on Friday at 10:00am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9:00am. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.
