Obituary of Anthony L. DeFlora
Anthony L. DeFlora, born and raised in Paterson NJ, passed away Saturday morning, December 5th surrounded by his loved ones. Anthony was borh in Paterson, NJ on September 18, 1932 to the late Leo and Josephine DeFlora. He proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Before retiring, Anthony worked as a meat cutter for the A&P in Woodland Park for over 40 years. He was a also member of the Passaic Valley Elks and the St. Gerard's Seniors Club. He was the devoted husband of Carmela (nee Oliveri) of West Paterson. He is survived by his daughter, Jaye Marotta and her husband, Cliff Hults. His grandchildren Jaye-Nicole Sanfilippo and her husband Jason, Anthony Dubbiosi and his wife Nicole, William, Sal and Lauren Marotta, his nephews, Frank Tripodi and Joe Oliveri, Jr. and several cousins. He will be resting with his other daughter Marie DeFlora. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 9:00am at St. Gerard Majella Church, 501 W. Broadway, Paterson. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa. More at www.santangelofuneral.com.
