Obituary of Leona Elhin

Leona Elhin (Hatab), 98, of Totowa, passed away on December 9, 2015. She was born in Paterson, NJ on June 14, 1917 to the late Salim and Manira (Azar) Hatab. Leona was a member at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Little Falls, NJ. She was the beloved wife of the late Saliba Elhin, the adored mother of Tom Elhin, Gloria Elhin, Joseph Elhin and his wife April, and the late Mary Mabey, and the cherished grandmother of Danielle, Joseph, Justin and Julian Elhin and Tommy and Sharon Mabey. She was the dear sister of George Hatab and the late Agnes Hatab and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-9pm at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 237 Long Hill Rd., Little Falls, NJ. A funeral service will be offered on Saturday at 10:00am at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 237 Long Hill Rd., Little Falls, NJ. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.
