Obituary of Joann L Brusco

Joann L. Brusco, (nee Pasciolla), 78, of Woodland Park, passed away on May 24, 2013. Joann was born in Bronx, NY to the late Joseph and Mary Pasciolla. In addition to being a loving homemaker to her family, she was a secretary for the Borough Clerk of Woodland Park and was also a legal secretary. She was the beloved wife of Fred A. Brusco for over 57 years. She was the treasured mother of Fred A. Brusco, Jr., Jeffrey A. Brusco and his wife Kathleen and Joan A. Bunda and her husband Peter. She was the cherished grandmother of Michael, Christine, Frank and Jeffrey Brusco and Jessica and Jennifer Bunda. She was the dear sister of Michael Pasciolla and his wife Anne, Marilyn Altomare and her husband Nicholas, Lillian McCabe and her husband Donald, and Diane Ferone and her husband Robert and was predeceased by her brothers Frank and Nicholas Pasciolla and is survived by their wives Dolores and Helen as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday at 10:00am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9:00am. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
