Obituary of Jean Giambertone
Jean Giambertone (Bruno), 101, of Totowa, formerly of Caldwell, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2016. Jean was born on June 7, 1914 in Manhattan, NY to the late Leo and Teresa (Fioravanti) Bruno. She worked as a seamstress for many years as a member of the union.
Jean was the beloved wife of the late Emil Giambertone. She was the treasured mother of Richard Giambertone and his wife Linda and of the late Adrienne Aversano. She was the adored grandmother of Lisa Fava and her husband Carlo, Holly Balsamo and her husband John, Richard Giambertone, Gregory Giambertone and his wife Enza and Richard Aversano and his wife Karen. She was the great grandmother of Nicole, Isabelle, Julianna, Alexandra, Michael, Janelle, Marco, Joseph, Stephen and Jennifer and the great-great grandmother of Carter. She was predeceased by her brother Charles Bruno and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be offered on Thursday from 9-10:30am at St. Joseph's Home Little Sisters of the Poor, 140 Shepherd Lane, Totowa, NJ. A funeral Mass will follow visitation at 10:30am at St. Joseph's Home for the Elderly, Little Sisters of the Poor. Burial will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, 61 Whippany Rd., Morristown, NJ.
