Obituary of Robert F McGrath

Robert F. McGrath, 81, of Paterson, passed away on February 10, 2016. Robert was born in Paterson, NJ on June 4, 1934 to the late Charles and Anna (Harrow) McGrath. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1957-1958. He retired after 30 years as a police officer for the Paterson Police Department. Prior to that, he worked at Western Electric. Robert was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Perkowski) McGrath for 30 years. He was the dear brother of Thomas McGrath and Bernice Forrest and her late husband Martin and was predeceased by his brother Charles A. McGrath in 1997. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday from 9-10am at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 10:30am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 32 West Franklin Ave., Pequannock, NJ. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
