Joe was a childhood friend along with Larry. Joe played in a Group as I did and it is sad to see him pass away. He is now with Larry and other Family members in Heaven. God Bless his family and all of you have my deepest condolences.
With Love,

Joe, your spirit will live on in everyone who knows you. Your ability to make people laugh was an incredible gift you shared with us. Joe, for those of us fortunate to know you, we will miss you, your incredible wit and musical talent. When we were in our teens, Joe and I spent time together hangin' at Panicci's Beach [the steps of the barber shop at the corner of McBride Ave and Ryle Park Are] where Joe would talk about his family and how funny they were, from his grandmother, his father, his brothers & his pet duck Prudence. I remember one time he told me if I pick up and learn to play the bass guitar we could start a band together. He was the first drummer I called when my brother Dominic and I were starting our band back in 1971. We spent some great years in the 70's playing music and going to nightclubs on our nights off to listen to other bands.

Joe, you will be missed so very much. If I had to pick just on thing I will miss the most Joe, it would be your wonderful sense of humor. You could always make light of any situation with your wit and dry humor and keep us all laughing. I know your road was not an easy one; but you are in a better place and God chose to take you on a most special day. Our days in the band together many years ago, will always have a special place in our hearts and minds. All of us, Robert & Dominic Conti, myself, and Vincenzo, who is waiting in Heaven for you, will cherish our time together during those years forever.
Thanks Joe, for being in my life. Always, Bob

Joe Panicci was my good friend and an excellent drummer. We played together in our band when we were teenagers until our early 20's. When I got nervous onstage Joe always made me laugh with his terrific sense of humor. I'll never forget the gig we played when we backed up a local Jersey act called Vincent and Pesci. Actor Frank Vincent booked our band and his partner Actor Joe Pesci had a comedy act together before they made it big. I was blessed to reconnect with Joe Panicci about 3 years ago and was so comforted to know that he had a relationship with Jesus and knew the bible. Joe would often ask me to pray for him during his battle with Cancer and took comfort in knowing that I was his brother in Christ. I know he's rejoicing in heaven now, free from pain and fully whole. My loss of his friendship is only temporary because I know I will see him again. John 3:16 "For God so Loved the World that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life".
