Obituary of Joseph Panicci, Jr.

Joseph Panicci, Jr., of Woodland Park, passed away on Christmas Day. He was born in Paterson, NJ on June 14, 1952 to the late Joseph and Antoinette (Reda) Panicci. Before retiring, Joseph worked for many years as a mortgage broker at various locations. He was a passionate drummer in a band with Dominic and Robert Conti and Robert Iandoli which he enjoyed throughout his lifetime.

Joseph was the adored father of Michael Panicci and his wife Carla and Joseph Panicci and the cherished grandfather of Francesca and Michael Panicci. He was the dear brother of John "Butch" Panicci and his wife Donna, Elaine Romanello and her husband Dominic, and the late Larry Panicci. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday from 4-8pm at Santangelo funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Guests may gather at Santangelo Funeral Home at 9:15am. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
