I believe that my sister has received a heavenly welcome for she knew and believed in God all her life. May her soul enjoy its reward with her husband and loved ones. Until we meet again, my loving thanks and prayers for Rosemary.
Above all , I thank my nieces and their families for their loving attention when she needed them and for the care she received at St. Joseph's Home with The Little Sisters and Staff. Rosemary was a loving, devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and more. May she now rest in God's peace.

Dear Family, Rosemary will be in my prayers of thanksgiving, now her mind and eyes are opened to see and understand all of God's blessings. Now that I am nearly 70, I understand why Msgr. Leo Bierster was so close to his family, in a special way to his sisters. Family is so very important to a priest's ministry. May Fr. Leo and all the family who have gone before us be with her and may she be one with you in her prayers until the end. I will be unable to join you but will pray that all are safe and filled with joy and peace in Christ.
Fr. John D. Hoke

What a beautiful tribute to Aunt Rosemary. Not a Christmas goes by that I do not think about the great times on 93rd street - with all our family and I hope that she will enjoy a similar Christmas this year. Even with 5 children, she always welcomed additional nieces and nephews into her home and sleepovers were always a cherished time for me. What I remember best of being in my Aunt's home a lot of family gathered around, laughter, and delicious Baked Ziti! You will be missed Aunt Rosemary but Uncle Rudy and many family members are happy to have you back in their arms again.

Ladies,
Sincere condolences to you and your families. Sadie and I enjoyed seeing you when we were at St. Joseph's and you were visiting your Mom. You have a beautiful family and may God provide comfort during this tough time. We will say some prayers.
