Obituary of Martin Leogrande

Martin Leogrande, age 87, of Paterson, passed away on September 8, 2013. Martin was born in Paterson to the late Marino and Rosina Leogrande. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Army during the Korean War. He later worked for 36 years at Johnny and Hanges in Paterson. He was the beloved husband of the late Charlotte (nee DeRoo). He was the adored father of Martin Leogrande, Jr., Edward Leogrande and his wife Janet, and Mindy Rodgers and her husband Tom. He was the cherished grandfather of Erik, Gwen and Amy Leogrande and Elyse and Noelle Rodgers and the great grandfather of Brittany Leogrande. He was the dear brother of Anthony Leogrande and the late Richard, Frank, Joseph and Antoinette. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
