Obituary of Frank Traina

Frank Traina, 73, of Clifton died on Thursday, December 12, 2019.  He was born on October 15, 1946 in Paterson NJ, son of the late Michelena and Joseph Traina.  He was raised in Paterson, New Jersey and was graduated from Eastside High School in 1964.  Frank then joined the Navy to see the world but always smiled that he only got as far as Newport RI and Norfolk VA.  In 1974, Frank married the love of his life and dance partner, Marianne (Emmolo) Traina. He enjoyed a cold beer or a good glass of wine and a great meal.  Frank retired from his career as a barber in 2016 and spent his retirement enjoying time with his three children Joe (and his wife Tina), Vincent and Michele and granddaughters Grace and Lily who were his pride and joy.  He also loved Orion who was his granddog and faithful companion.

He also is survived by his loving brother Anthony, sister in law Patricia Bartolomeo and her husband Phil, nieces and nephews: Mark, Britney, Christopher, Carolyn, Cara, Crista, Joe, and Mike. Frank will be held in all of our hearts. 

Visitation hours will be on Monday December 16th, 2019 from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave, Woodland Park, NJ 07424.  A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at  10:00a.m. at St. Cassian’s Church, 187 Bellevue Ave., Montclair. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
