Vaida Jefferson was unending energy and fought valiantly ignoring her illness. She always brought comfort to all with her enduring smile and joyous nature. Her vibrant personality was apparent in any conversation regardless the setting, even the hospital. She was loving, knowledgeable and had a quick grasp of affairs, whether regarding her family or the global perspective. Vaida was enthusiastic and infused all of us with this wonderful upbeat attitude. She was sharp, intuitive and yet, all that is compassionate. Vaida knew how to show up and support people, be it her son on the football field, a school function or a neighborhood gathering. She was at ease anywhere and conversed readily with all, even the Yankees. She was poised, delightful and sparkling to all. Vaida has brought her joy to heaven.
