Obituary of Vaida Jefferson

Vaida Jefferson, 51, of Woodland Park, passed away after a valiant battle with Multiple Sclerosis for many years. Vaida was born on August 21, 1968 in Rego Park, Queens to Jimmy Lawton and Catherine Jefferson. She proudly graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Vaida is survived by her parents, her sisters Tammy Gibson and Kristal Lawton, her brother Kirk Jefferson, many nieces and nephews, cousins and devoted friends. But the true light of Vaida's life was her son and loving caretaker, Quai Jefferson who was always by her side caring for her with tenderness.

Vaida had a vibrant and beautiful spirit and she truly touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to meet her.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 8th, 2020 from 4:00-8:00pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
