I am so very sorry for your loss. I just found out of Corinne’s passing so am sorry I missed paying my respects. As next door neighbors and friends I have such wonderful memories of all the times I spent at the Barrett house. Nancy we had some great times!! I was so shocked and saddened when I read about Corinne. We sat next to one another at mass in Holy Angels and I looked forward to our Sunday discussions. I will miss her dearly and am so sorry I was unable to say my final goodbye. I will speak to her in my prayers! My deepest condolences to the entire family.

I feel truly blessed to have known Corrine ( Mrs. Barrett) what an amazing, kind, compassionate woman she was. Being in her company you felt you were truly in the presence of an angel on earth, she had the warmest smile, and when you were with her, you knew she really cared about you. My prayers, and deepest sympathy for the family, having just lost my Dad, I know exactly what your going thru, and how your feeling, but I am grateful that she is at peace, and now with Our Lord. Corrine has earned her “Angel Wings” I will never forget her.

Corine was my pal for a lot of years. She was there for me when I lost my son Kevin and remained my wonderful friend for years. I will never forget her kindness and the laughs we shared both at work and socially. Unfortunately I can’t make it to pay my last respects as I am in the hospital. I am so very sad to hear this. I live in Florida now and will not be able to pay my respects. This was one great, kind and special woman. I have so many wonderful memories of her. She was my second mother growing up and will never forget her and will remember her so fondly.

Some of the sweetest memories from my late teens and early twenties were made at the Barrett home on Irving Place. The door was always open, people were coming and going, the food was delicious and the company warm and familiar. Going there was always going to visit family and that was all Corinne. You made everyone welcome instantly. You have earned your rest.
