Obituary of Amal "Amy" Lucy Faris

Amal "Amy" Faris, 43, passed away on September 23, 2020. She was born on November 30, 1976 in Hackensack, NJ. Amal was a devoted homemaker to her family. She is survived by her loving husband, William Garrs, and their beautiful children, Isabella, (age 9), and Christian, (age 5), her devoted parents Habib and Lucy Faris, her brother Faris and wife Jodi and her brother Karim and wife Ashley. She was the dedicated aunt of Annalise, Ayla, and Carmela Faris and was adored by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Amal was a bright light who was loved by all and her gentle, positive spirit touched everyone she came in contact with. She cherished spending time with her family and friends and truly made everyone feel that they were important. Her strength, love, and devotion made Amal the epitome of what a wife, daughter, mother, and friend should be.

All services will be private for Amal's immediate family.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for assistance in creating a college fund for their children, Isabella and Christian. Donations may be made payable to William Garrs and mailed to 266 Holland Court, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
