Obituary of Daniel Velazquez, Jr.

Daniel Velazquez, Jr. aka "Danny Boy", 62, of Paterson, passed away on October 24, 2020. Daniel was born in Passaic, NJ on February 15, 1958 to the late Daniel and his surviving mother Gloria (Colon) Velazquez. Most recently, Daniel worked at Sparks Belting as a conveyor belt manufacturer.

Daniel was the adored husband of Blanca Arroyo, the cherished father of Annessi Velazquez, Daniel Velazquez, III, and Ivette Chira and the treasured grandfather of Skylynn, destiny, Alexander, Nicholas, Aiden, EJ, and Leland. Daniel was also the dear brother of George, Gladys, Gloria, and Mary and is survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 27th from 6:00-9:00pm at Santangelo Funeral Home. 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral service will be offered on Wednesday, October 28th at 10:00am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Guests may arrive at the funeral home between 9-10am. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.

Due to the COVID-19 state mandated limits, a maximum of 50 individuals are permitted in the funeral home at one time. A face covering must be worn by everyone in attendance at all times. In addition, please follow social distancing guidelines. Thank you for your compliance and understanding.
