Obituary of Elizabeth "Betty" Miller

Elizabeth "Betty" Miller, 84, of Woodland Park, passed away unexpectedly at home on March 18, 2021. She was born in Paterson on August 3, 1936 to the late George and Monica (O'Rourke) Miller. Betty worked at First Union Bank for over 34 years before retiring in 1998. She was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Pompei Church where she served as a Eucharist Minister and a former president of the Rosary Society. She also served as the Treasurer of the Paterson Diocesan Council of Catholic Women and was a past president of the Paterson Hawthorne District of the Diocesan Council. 

Betty was predeceased by her sister Catherine Kubisky (husband Andrew), her sister Monica Barwick, and her brother Charles Miller (wife Barbara). She is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and very dear, lifelong treasured friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 9:00-10:00am at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:15am at Our Lady of Pompei Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson. Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
