Obituary of Ernesto Estrella
Ernesto Estrella, 89, of Hawthorne, formerly of Paterson, passed away on December 29, 2021. He was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador to the late Samuel Araujo and Lucila Mosquera. Before retiring, Ernesto worked as a truck driver at Keystone Transportation Company. He was the beloved husband of Bertha Estrella until her passing in 2010. He was the cherished father of Joe Solis and his wife Vicki, Nelson Estrella and his wife Joann, Ernie Estrella and his wife Shawnea, Jacqueline Estrella and Lucy Estrella. He was a loving "Pop Pop" to Jessica, Melissa, Elena, Marina, Amaya, Noah, Julien, Gianna, Jessica, Nicole and Sara and a great-grandfather to Gabriel, Emma, Katie, Alyvia, Amelia and Mackenzie. He is also survived by additional family members and in laws.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 11:00am - 12:00pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A graveside service will follow at 12:15pm at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
