Dear Pat and Mark , I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom Shirley . I have so many wonderful memories,some sad ,many very happy, of Shirley that go back so many years! Life in our neighborhood was so great back in the day and neighbors were like family ! Shirley was a strong,caring woman who faced the challenges of life so very bravely ! May you now Rest Easy Shirley in the hands of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ !

Mom this is the night before your funeral mass and I am sitting here reviewing everything to ensure that it's just beautiful and with the perfection that you are so deserving of. No doubt we are heartbroken and even your Dr.'s were shocked by your passing. We all new that you did it your way and on your terms. And they knew it too. I get it and thank you for continuing to protect us even upon you death. You will be so proud as to how we are trying to navigate through this heartbreaking process. I've seen your"signs" and know that you are watching over me as I have worked out the details these past few days. We all hope that it captures the beauty and meaning that you are so deserving of. Still surreal to me and to all of us but I would give anything for you to use those bad words in front of "Patricia" at least one more time. You are my hero, my inspiration and I can only hope that I have been even a fraction of the mother that you have been to Mark and I. Think so. Look at your grandchildren. Proud of them all!! And we will continue to pass this to Angelina and any other great-grandchildren in the future. I love you now and forever. You can fill Dad in on the wonderful job that you did!

You were one in a million, grandma! This world will never be the same without you. Your strength and bravery is something I truly admire and hope to find in myself one day. Angelina — will grow up hearing stories of her great-grandma and how much she loved her. I’ll always remember you thanking me over and over again for giving her to our family. You would say, “ I want to thank you for giving us our little Princess”. I truly cherished the 31 years we had together, rest easy up in Heaven with your husband, and don’t forget to look down on us and smile. We will all be waiting to hear from you..
