Obituary of Shirley J. Ricciardi

Shirley J. Ricciardi (nee Macones), 90, of Wayne, passed away on January 8, 2022. She was born in Paterson, NJ on October 4, 1931 to the late John and Florence (Muccio) Macones. Shirley was the secretary to the superintendent of Passaic Valley High School for many years until her retirement. She was also a devoted and loving mother to her children and grandchildren. Shirley's husband, the late Frank Ricciardi, passed away 60 years ago and she continued to support her family lovingly.

Shirley was the adored mother of Patricia Dickman and her husband Larry and Mark Ricciardi and his wife Angela. She was the treasrued grandmother of Bryan Dickman, Mark Ricciardi, Jr. and his fiance Christi Sanchez and Michelle Mott and her husband Rob and the great grandmother of Angelina Mott. She was the dear sister of Jacqueline Marotta and her husband William and Joseph Macones and his wife Irene and is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children as well as many first cousins. Shirley also leaves behind her loving fur grandbabies, Kelly, Honey, Einstein and Bailey.

A PRIVATE funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 11:30am at Our Lady of the Valley RC Church, 640 Valley Road, Wayne, NJ.
