Obituary of Horst Otto Kurt Kaiser

Horst Otto Kurt Kaiser, 64, of Haledon, passed away on February 1, 2014. Horst was born in Germany on July 29, 1949 to Emilie (Koeppen) and the late Kurt Otto Kaiser. Horst proudly served his country as a member of the US Army during the Vietnam War. While enlisted he was a mechanic for military helicopters. He was then a tailor for many years at All Cities Uniforms in Paterson, NJ and Gramercy Mills in Passaic, NJ. Most recently, he owned Super Kleen Pools in Haledon, NJ. Horst was the beloved husband of Blanca (Franceconi). He was the cherished father of Kristofer Kaiser, Stacey Kaiser Diou, and Kurt Kaiser. He was the treasured Godfather of Stephanie Pascrell and Kerry Ann Gaynor and grandfather of Kurt, Camarin and Melina. Horst was the dear brother of Hannelore Fazzinga and her husband Frank, Giesela Kaiser, Barbara Appio and her husband Paul, Rita Pascrell and her husband Ronald, Jutta Kaiser, Dolores Reda and her husband Todd. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews and 2 grand nieces. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:30-7:30pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be offered on Friday at 10am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa.
