Missing you so much. Still can't believe you're gone. Keep waiting for you to call and tell me you're up for the day, and to call at the end of Jeopardy to see who got Final Jeopardy right. </3 - Glad you and Mom are together forever, but miss you both more than I can say. Love you.

I have so many wonderful memories of my uncle Al, here is my way of expressing them:
Dearest Uncle Al,
I just want to say goodbye,
But its hard to let you go,
When my heart is overflowing,
And my tears still continue to flow.
Thank you for the times we shared,
Your kindness when I was sick,
Your thoughtful easy manner,
Your winning smile,
Your wit.
The way you could tell a story,
Your humorous anecdotes,
I can still hear you singing,
Each lyric, each syllable, each note.
There's a huge emptiness in my heart,
That will never be filled again.
The last of a family legacy,
Was here, left his mark and went.
I love you,
Joanie

Al, I wish I could have spent more time with you when I had the chance. You taught me all I know about poker and I was always fascinated how you counted by 5s when raking it in. Games without you were boring.
Will always honor your exceptional qualities as a human, that I watched and admired. With a very heavy heart I say Goodbye to the best.

My Uncle Dad. I just can't believe you are gone. you took care of me when I was a teenager, taking me in. You were more of a dad than my own. My whole life I looked up to you and miss you so very much, you'll never know. Please give a kiss and hug to Aunt Mom. You were the Godfather of the family and as far as I'm concerned will always be. I have so many memories. you were the greatest man on earth. You're in Gods hands now and with the love of your life. rest in peace.

Our heartfelt condolences to the Caldo family. When someone special falls asleep in death, it is very hard to let go of the fact that they are no longer with us. We will miss holding them in our arms again and hear their laughter or see their smiles again. Our God, Jehovah, offers a future hope for our loved ones, which will help ease our feelings of loss today. May the coming days bring you comfort and peace (Isaiah 26:19).

I have so many memories , I couldn't sleep last night thinking of all the great memories Uncle Al gave me. he took me to my first Brooklyn Dodgers game at Ebbetts field when I was a little kid. after 60 years , I still remember it.
He was such a big part of my childhood. He always made me smile and even as an adult , I looked forward to seeing him because he could always brighten my day.
With his passing a large candle went out in all of us and the world. A candle that can never be replaced or relit.
The sorrow will be for those left behind as we will suffer the pain of his absence.
It is with a heavy heart and tearful eyes that we say good bye Uncle Al.
You will always be in our heart and our minds till we join you.

I'll always be your little girl Dad. I can't believe you are gone. And just so quickly. I wish you would hold my hand again. You were the best Dad we could have. You taught us family is so important, especially our siblings. I will never forget that or your sense of humor. You'll always be a part of me.

This is all so sudden, an unexpected tragedy. I'm still in shock honestly, I'm still waiting to see you and hear your laugh but those are all thoughts that will become a reality. You were a catch and every person who got to experience your presence was blessed with a man who is by far one of the most amazing men. I know your with Aunt Winnie now and can continue your lives above forever but we are down here grieving and missing that we can't hear your laugh or your stories.. or that famous "DEAL". I LOVE YOU!
