Obituary of Robert C. Reda

Robert C. Reda, age 52, of West Paterson, passed away March 14, 2009. He proudly served his community as the Chief of Police in West Paterson. He was the recipient of the NJ State PBA Medal of Honor. He was a member of the Local PBA #173, State PBA, Chiefs of Police Associations, NJ and NY Honor Legions. Cherished son to Samuel and Jessie Reda. Treasured husband of Tami (nee Freed). Devoted father of Francesca and GianCarlo. Loved brother of Anthony Reda and his wife Janice and Michael Reda and his wife Gina. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and brothers and sister of the West Paterson Police Department. Visiting will be Tuesday from 7-9pm and Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral mass will be Thursday, 10:00am at St. Bonaventure Church, Paterson. Guests may arrive at funeral home at 9:00am. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
