Obituary of Thomas Cantres

Thomas Cantres, age 29, of Woodland Park, passed away in his home on June 28, 2009. He was born in New York City, NY. Before his sickness, he was a student at Roman Academy in Hawthorne, aspiring to be a hair stylist. Thomas is the beloved father of Lindsay Cantres, an adored son of Kudeza Hasim, and a treasured brother to Islam Cantres. He is also survived by cousins Jorfor Hasim, Jr., Latia Ortiz, Debbie Cantres and many other cousins, family members, and friends. Thomas was predeceased by his father, Jose Cantres. Visiting will be Wednesday evening from 7:00-9:00pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday morning at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
