At times like these, and there have been too many lately, it is so hard to live so far away. Through wet eyes, I look back to earliest childhood. Some of my most distant memories are of going upstairs to visit Aunt Rose. I still remember watching her drink tea at the kitchen table while she entertained a 3-year-old me as a guest. I still ddrink tea. Funny, more about drinks comes to mind. She always seemed to offer 7-Up when I was a child. When Joe and I brought newborn Danny to meet her, she and Uncle Bob offered us 7-Up. My last memory of her is just before we lost Uncle Bob. She was taking care of him.
I love you, Aunt Rose.
