Obituary of Rose E. Goode

Rose E. Goode, (nee Hess), age 87, of Wayne, passed away on August 26, 2011 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Paterson, NJ to the late John and Rose Hess. Rose worked in the personnel department for the City of Paterson before her retirement. She was a lifelong parishioner at St. Bonaventure Church in Paterson where she also attended elementary and high school and was a member of the Our Lady of Pompeii Seniors. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert B. Goode, the treasured mother of Rosemary Schwartzseid and her husband Russell and Kathleen Pandolfo and her husband Anthony, and the adored grandmother to Anthony and Daniel Pandolfo. She is also survived by her sister in law Ruth Hess as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers John and James Hess. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday at 9am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
