Obituary of Carol Ann Pomante

Carol Ann Pomante, (nee Murphy), age 59, of Woodland Park, passed away on August 27, 2011. Carol worked at Hoffman LaRoche/Genentech as a global team leader before her retirement. She was a parishioner at Our Lady of Pompeii in Paterson. She was the beloved wife of Gaetano for 39 years and the treasured mother of Anita Pomante and her fianc Karen, Alfred Pomante, and Gaetano Pomante. She is the treasured sister in law of Marie Pietrobono and her late husband Mario and Attilio "Butch" Pomante and his wife Annette. She was the dear aunt to Linda Spinoso and her husband Lenny, Sandy Hale and her husband Michael, Mario Pietrobono and his wife Mona, Joseph Pomante and his wife Maria as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Anita Bickel Murphy. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday at 11:30am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson, NJ. Guests may arrive at funeral home at 10am. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
