Eleanor, Marie, Joanne and Tom, Your dad was one in a million -- such a gentle, loving, intelligent man. You are so fortunate to have called him dad. There could be no better example for you as you became parents and aunt. We cannot tell you enough what he and your mom meant to us. We always thought of them as another set of grandparents for our kids. They were family to us. As neighbors, they have never been replaced. Hopefully, all the memories you have will help comfort you. We have such wonderful memories of all the times we shared. Our memory now pictures your dad sitting out on the patio with Jeff in his lap taking a nap and telling him they were "going to China." Now he has gone beyond and is together with your mom in eternal life. You know that he is happy because he is home again. His life is definitely one that should be celebrated!
