My deepest sympathies to Lu's friends and family. I worked with her at Magellan/Aetna. I loved her sense of mischief and romanticism in addition to her intelligence. This just sucks. I am so sorry Katelyn and Michael. She adored you guys and thought you were brilliant and amazing. It is gonna suck for a long time. But she will always be loving you. (I know this because my dad died when I was a kid and I have been through the suckage)

I met Lucinda on September 10, 2011 at a Jesse Malin Show @ Drew's in Ringwood, NJ. I immediately liked her as she was warm and welcoming. We kept in touch and although I only saw her one other time at a Willie Nile show at Joe's Pub in NYC, I felt like I knew her for a long time. I looked forward to getting to know her better. I will miss her and will always be sorry that I wasn't able to help her with whatever she needed. She will be missed.

I only know of Lucinda through my daughter Angie and have heard nothing but good about her. She was kind enough to take Angie in when she was without a place to live. That is a wonderful person.

I'm so blessed to have had Lucinda for a friend. A trusted friend that provided me with special gifts only her and I shared. My heart aches everytime I think of Lucinda.
