Obituary of Lucinda Gallagher

Lucinda Gallagher (nee Perez), of Hoboken, NJ, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Lucinda was born on July 25th, 1974 to Ilsa Hernandez and Miguel Perez and raised in Jersey City, NJ. She attended Mustard Seed Elementary School and Saint Anthony's High School before transferring to Blair Academy in Blairstown, NJ. Lucinda worked as a health insurance specialist and patient advocate. Lucinda's outgoing nature, loyalty, and desire to help others were admired by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was a devoted and loving mother to her children, to whom she passed on her intelligence, wit, and extraordinary kindness. Lucinda is predeceased by her father, Miguel Perez. She is survived by her children, Michael Durstewitz and Katelyn Durstewitz, her mother, Ilsa Hernandez, her brothers Kevin Gomez, Harry Gomez, and Frank Gomez, her sisters Mercedes Perez and Maglinda Perez, and many family members and friends. Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 &7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A service will be held during visitation at 7:30pm.
