When Loved Ones Perish
When loved ones perish,
It's those joyful memories, recalled, we cherish.
For ew know they are gone, tempoperily,
And, yet, we wish we were together, happily.
What comes after death, we don't know,
But an afterlife is sure as winter's snow.
'Cause we know they're in God's care,
And their spirit stays with us everywhere.
Once they're gone, we mourn with greif,
But we keep those moments short and breif.
For we know they are who we love,
As they watch from heaven, and above.
When loved ones perish,
It's those joyful memories, recalled, we cherish.

Greatgrandma (Rita Barra) isn't doing well at all. Everyone says she doesn't have long. She is my last greatgrandparent, I was born with 8,and I love her. When she passes I'll miss her. As I sit in my bed tonight crying and writing this, I think of all the wonderful times I had with her.
I wrote this at 11:00pm on March 30th. Little did I know that, just 4 hours later, she would pass. I miss her very much.
