As I can go back to the very first time I crossed paths with Joe, It was a sweet one. We met at the Saint Patrick's Day parade. Very fun day. What I can always reflect on the most, is again his smile. He caught my "attention" just with his smile from across the room at the party later on. It was nice. From that point on, saw a warm sincere guy, that not only I'm glad I got to know more. I got to know such a great family he has left behind. Such great memories, which I will hold dearly.
There wasn't a dull moment with Joe. His personality just bounced off everyone around him, that's the way he was. Most of all I always saw how dedicated and loving he was to the end, to his sweet kids. Joe always put them first before anything else.
This news of his passing comes still as a shock. It's hard to believe, since the last we were in contact was four months ago. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family during this difficult time. May you all eventually heal and always remember him always. Let his legacy remain. He was a wonderful guy, that I'm glad that I got to know. Gone way too too soon...and very sad.
"Sempre nel mio cuore"
Much love to the family I miss....
