Obituary of Joseph Schimmenti

Joseph Schimmenti, age 39, of Wayne, passed away on July 6, 2012. Joseph was born in Paterson to Maria (nee Onorato) and the late Giuseppe Schimmenti. Joseph worked as an electrician for many years and was also a volunteer for the Totowa First Aid Squad, and most recently a paramedic for Rockland. He was the beloved father of Angelo and Julia Schimmenti. He was the cherished brother of Anna Maria Kupchack and her husband John and Salvatore Schimmenti and his wife Sandra, and the dear uncle of Cristina, Alicia and Michael Kupchack and Joseph, Salvatore, and Alexander Schimmenti. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday at 10am at Church of the Annunciation, 45 Urban Club Road, Wayne, NJ. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9am. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
