Dear family members of Vincenzo Gravino, My name is Mary Rose and I worked with Vinnie at the Academy. I am a music teacher there. I remember Vinnie as a vibrant man with lots of hope, talking about the trips he arranged for his family and friends, the joys and concerns of his children and grandchildren. He also told me about some Italian bands for me to look up on Youtube, some of which his relatives were a part of. He brought joy to the job and also demonstrated an appreciation for music and the precious things in life: his family. After he retired, we stayed in touch on Facebook for a while. I, among many, will miss him. I pray for peace and comfort for you family members through this time. We know that Vinnie is no longer suffering, as he did for some time. May Jesus hold you up now as you draw unto him for your loss. God bless you, Mary Rose Schneider

I only had the privelage to know you for 9 short years.
When my wife and I first started dating you were the first one outside her immediate family that I met. I have to say that like anyone, being a new guy I was nervous, but the first time I met you & every other time, I was greeted by someone that made me know I had a friend, role model, an uncle, & a buddy that insisted I have some wine with him whenever I walked through your door.
You were always smiling, & always happy as long as everyone around you was happy. You were a positive influence to not only your family & to me but to everyone you knew.
Today is a sad day for me & for everyone that was lucky enough to know you. Its sad that you are not with us anymore, but its good that you don't have to suffer another day.
I will always remember how you welcomed me from the first second I met you, & treated me the same way from that day forward. There are not many people in the world like you. You will truly be missed!

Zio Vincenzo,
Today we lost the kindest, most thoughtful, genuine, and kind-hearted person someone could ever have met! Words can't describe how empty I feel inside knowing I will not get to see your smiling face again. I will cherish all the memories I had with you like when I was a kid and you used to squeeze my nose and tell me it was missing, when we were kids and were being too loud playing you would knock on the ceiling and tell us to come downstairs, the summers at the beach in wildwood & keansburg, all the holidays I got to spend with you, and the list goes on… You were the best uncle I could ever have asked for. You were truly an amazing person! I am lucky for the time I got to spend with you.
I am so sad to see you go but I am happy you are no longer suffering. You don't deserve to suffer. Until we will meet again Zio.. I love you and will never forget you or your smile. Rest in peace our angel.
