Obituary of Vincenzo Gravino

Vincenzo Gravino, 56, of Woodland Park, passed away on March 5, 2015 surrounded by his family. Vincenzo was born on October 21, 1958 in Bracigliano, Italy to the late Arturo and Anna (DeMaio) Gravino. He worked in the maintenance department at Windsor Academy in Woodland Park. In his spare time, Vincenzo enjoyed soccer and especially loved the Forza Napoli team. Vincenzo was the beloved husband of Elia (Emmolo) for over 35 years. He was the treasured father of Arturo Gravino and his wife Christina, Anna Gravino and Jennifer Gravino. He was the cherished grandfather of Vincenzo Gravino, Victoria Gravino, Anthony Vincent Gravino, Aryanna DeLa Cruz and Bernardo DeLa Cruz. He was the dear brother to Carmine Gravino, Antonietta Galasso, Josephine Amica-Terra and the late Gerardina Gravino. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and family in Italy and Germany. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9pm and Sunday from 5-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 9:30am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson, NJ. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
